Events are currently in the New York City area, but we are set to bring Leashes and Lovers to a national level. Owning/bringing a dog is not a necessary requirement to attend, loving dogs is!

Leashes and Lovers® is dedicated to supporting animals in need by highlighting animal organizations and animals for adoption at events. We also donate to animal organizations and participate in local and out-of-town fundraisers.

The 6th annual Take a Bite Out of Canine Cancer^TM event, hosted by Greyhounds Rock Fredericksburg, is a weekend gathering to benefit Ohio State University’s Greyhound Health & Wellness Program (GHWP). This year we are honored to be joined by two nationally recognized speakers, Sheryl Matthys and Victoria Stilwell. The Fredericksburg Hospitality House Hotel and Conference Center, our host venue, is a dog-friendly hotel. Leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome at all of the hotel-based activities. No retractable leashes will be allowed. Rooms for this event are $79 per night, with a one-time $25 pet fee.
